One of the most common questions we get asked is how do you work out the cost of a Pro Collection album from the hard copy of the Price List! We understand that this can be confusing, however, as each of the albums from our Pro Collection is made to order, the cost of each album is unique and depends on page numbers, mat types, covers etc.

To work out the cost from the hardcopy of the pricelist, just follow the steps below:

1. Work out the size of the album and the cover material. This will give you the cover price.
2. Multiply the price per page for your album size by the number of pages you would like in your album. (HINT: 1 page = 2 sides/2 mats)
3. Multiply the price per mat for your album size by the number of mats you need in your album, e.g. if you have 12 pages you need 24 mats.
4. Add any album extras, e.g. stitching, photo inlay etc.
5. Add the cost of any services. (HINT: if you would like assembly only multiply the cost by the number of SIDES (e.g. 1 page = 2 sides) and print and assemble by the number of PAGES.

If you add all the above up you will have the cost of your album! Of course, if you would like us to prepare a quote please contact us at sales@jorgensenalbums.com.

As each of our bespoke albums is made to order, production time will vary depending on a number of factors; e.g. Number of pages, Covers styles, Whether we are printing or assembling the album for you etc. However, just to help out, we have provided a rough indication of completion times for our bespoke items below:

• Pro Collection album (no printing or assembly): 2 -3 weeks
• Pro Collection album with assembly only: 2-3 weeks
• Pro Collection album with Printing and assembly: 3-4 weeks
• Komplet Collection album: 3-4 weeks
• Photo Cover DVD Case: 2-3 weeks
• Photo Cover Print Boxes: 2-3 weeks

Please note: Although we try as hard as possible to stick to the above times, they are an indication only and do not allow for delivery time.

Any of our accessories or albums from the Studio Collection will be processed within 2 working days of receiving your order. If you have any items embossed, please allow additional time. If we are out of stock of we will notify you as soon as possible.

Komplet Collection

With our KOMPLET COLLECTION you will need to send your images to us for printing via JAD. Once you have completed your albums and are ready to send your album and prints off to Jorgensen’s for printing and manufacture just follow the steps below:

• Click the “ORDER” Button in the top toolbar and select “SEND ORDER FOR ALBUMS/MATS” from the drop down menu. Ensure you are happy with the all the information on the Confirm order screen and click “SEND ORDER”.
• Once you have completed the above step you will need to now export your images for printing.
• Click the “ORDER” Button in the top toolbar and select “EXPORT IMAGES FOR PRINTING” from the drop down menu. Follow the instructions in the next few steps to export your images!

TIP: Ensure all your prints are “Print ready” as per Jorgensen’s instructions. This means all your images are flattened JPEGS, sRGB at 300dpi.

Pro Collection

With our PRO COLLECTION you will need to send your images to us for printing on a CD. Simply ensure all your images are print ready (Either flattened JPEGS, sRGB or Adobe98 at 300dpi) and saved on a CD. Don’t forget to send us a layout of the album or via email so we can ensure your prints all end up in the correct order!

TIP: When you order your album through JAD, please make note in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS (Under “ORDER PROPERTIES”) that you would like us to print your images.

Matted Albums

All matted albums have to be designed and ordered in JAD.

Digital Albums

Digital albums (e.g. Pro Collection E Album and Komplet Collection Digital Albums) can be designed in software outside of JAD, however, you will need to import the images into JAD prior to ordering. Confused?! Let me explain with a few simple step by step instructions:

• Design all your digital magazine style pages in Photoshop or other design software. TIP: Make sure the image/canvas size is the same as the album size you would like to order!
• Ensure you export all your page designs as flattened sRGB jpegs @ 300dpi. TIP: Export double page spreads to save time when importing in JAD
• Open up JAD and select the basics for your album order, e.g. size and pages numbers
• Once the album is open, go to IMAGE at the top menu then select ADD IMAGES from the drop down menu
• Import all your page designs into JAD.
• Simply drag and drop all your page designs onto the pages! TIP: If you drag and drop an image onto a digital style page and it doesn’t fill the page simply right click with your mouse on the image and select ‘Fill Mat’!

Everyone is entitled to change their mind and we are happy to make changes to any order if it hasn’t gone into production. As each of our albums are custom made, we make every album from scratch!

If you change your mind about an album order, page count or cover material please let us know ­asap so we can remove the order from production and ensure you are not charged.
